The next day, October 23, 2024, saw the launch of the B2B2 Meet at the Cinnamon Grand Colombo — the first-ever B2B2 meeting held overseas. This landmark event brought together 25 leading importers from various industries, who engaged with key decision-makers in a structured roundtable setup. Ten manufacturers showcased their products, initiating meaningful conversations and forging valuable business connections. The full-day event, running from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, featured breakfast, lunch, and snacks, providing an excellent networking platform for all attendees. Importers were particularly impressed by the event’s well-organized structure, which facilitated productive interactions. Further reinforcing ties between the two nations, Mr. Mukeshbhai Kundariya and Mr. Hareshbhai Bopaliya from the Morbi Association, along with Mr. Vigneshwaran, President of TSIA, and other key members, met with representatives from the Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI). The discussions were focused on strengthening standards and fostering greater collaboration between India and Sri Lanka.
